Terms of Service

By accessing or using PhotoVersus you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. We may update these terms at any time; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. The current version will always be available on this page.

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your password secure and for all activity under your account.
• Your username (handle) can be changed in account settings, subject to our community guidelines.
• One account per person. Duplicate accounts used to circumvent moderation will be permanently banned.
• If you sign in with Google Sign-In, your account is linked to your Google account. You may unlink it from your settings.

By submitting a review or photo you affirm that:

• The content is your own original work.
• You have actually used or handled the product you are reviewing.
• The content does not contain false information, spam, hate speech, illegal content, or material that violates third-party rights.
• You grant PhotoVersus a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, distribute, and promote the content on the platform.

Attempting to manipulate scores through coordinated fake reviews ("review bombing") will result in immediate account suspension and permanent ban. Our automated detection system flags suspicious patterns; flagged reviews are removed from score calculations pending moderator review.

Prices displayed are sourced from third-party retailers (Amazon, PcComponentes, MediaMarkt, and others) and may be out of date. PhotoVersus does not guarantee price accuracy. Always verify the current price on the retailer's website before purchasing.

Some price links are affiliate links. If you make a purchase through them, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. This does not influence our scores or the order in which prices are displayed (always lowest to highest).

Technical scores are calculated from manufacturer specifications. We strive for accuracy but cannot guarantee that spec data is complete or error-free. Scores are provided for comparison purposes only and do not constitute purchasing advice.

You may not:

• Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from PhotoVersus without written permission.
• Use automated tools to submit reviews or gallery photos.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer our scoring algorithms for commercial purposes.
• Interfere with the platform's security or availability.
• Submit reviews on behalf of a manufacturer, retailer, or competitor.
• Impersonate another person or entity.

Price alerts are an informational service. PhotoVersus does not guarantee that prices will drop to your target level or that alerts will be delivered without delay. Alerts are processed approximately every 15 minutes. Once triggered, an alert is marked as completed and you must create a new one if you wish to continue receiving notifications.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from the Account Settings page. After deletion, your personal data will be removed within 30 days in accordance with our Privacy Policy. Content you have published (reviews, photos) may be retained in anonymised form.

PhotoVersus is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that the information provided is accurate or complete. To the maximum extent permitted by law, PhotoVersus shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the platform.

These terms are governed by the laws of Spain and the European Union. Disputes shall be resolved in the competent courts of Spain. EU consumers may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
